Kol Haneshamah:
The new Reconstructionist prayerbook.

Gail Diamond, Rabbi of Agudas Achim in Attleboro MA, will lead a three-session discussion of the new prayerbook series. The program will focus particularly on the Sabbath prayerbook, Shabbat veHagim.

The series is being held on three Mondays in November, the first session was on the 4th, the next ones are on the 18th and the 25th. Even if you do not get to all the sessions, you are welcome at any one of them.

The Prophets:
Their significance for Reconstructionist Judaism

The theme of this year's Reconstructionist Study Group will be a study of the Prophets and and their messages.
9 December: Our subject will be Amos.
13 January 1997: Jeremiah will be the focus of the discussion.

The two-hour sessions (or longer) will be for discussion of the books rather than study sessions on the subject of the book.
