I agree with Terri that the ends do not justify the means, and I would not
condone that. In the interest of simplifying, I assume a certain amount of
integrity, ethics, and legal behavior. Assuming we can agree on the
self-evident (ethical) truths (he he).

Rol makes the statement that "all we really care about is the outcome, assuming it is adequately defined and prescribed." I would agree with most of the comments which followed this, but found myself returning to this statement nevertheless.
For me, "outcome-only" sounds too much like "the end justifies the means," and there is some need for caution here.
