In response to the statistics on high school graduates, Ray asks, "This is
very interesting with the various figures being given for the number of
black children who get into scrapes with the law (one out of three) and
the number of out of wedlock girls as a % of the whole of the
population....Maybe somebody is lying about the stats. I wonder who?"
You reminded of my other comment which I forgot to write: It has been
amply demonstrated in the case of census data that we undercount
minorities and illegal aliens. Therefore the original estimate of 25%
without high school degrees seems about right.
