We spent a long weekend in Addison County, Vermont -- a hot spot of migrating snow geese. As you can see, the gees and the foliage were spectacular. Also spectacular were the pancakes at the Addison Fire Department Pancake Breakfast, the apple cobbler at the Farmer's Diner in Quechee, the raptors at VINS in Quechee, the cheese everywhere we ate, the apples, the apple jams and jellies... who knew Vermont was a culinary paradise for humans as well as a refueling stop for snow geese?

See more pictures of the snow geese trip.
