It's cold, very cold. I am devoting myself to making soup for the entire weekend. Today parsnip bisque -- root vegetables are where it's at in winter. Tomorrow kale soup -- it simmers for a long time and keeps the kitchen warm and humidified. Oh yeah, and only unserious reading for the weekend.
