Pizza with the Groton branch of La Familia Loca was great. I got to:

  • hear how much better Andrea has gotten at playing the piano,
  • learn how badly I stink at foosball (no Starship Startup does NOT have a foosball table - we're not one of those 90's dotcomm startups - we make real hardware... and don't have a foosball table), review the chilluns' report cards (excellent ones I might add),
  • finally give Andrea the biodynamic organic Himalayan Oolong tea from New Bedford (no - they don't grow it biodynamically and organically in New Bedford; Barrows Tea imports and packages it in New Bedford)
  • brew and drink said biodynamic organic Himalayan Oolong tea with Andrea in the purple room ,
  • see a preview of Andrea's part in the school play (Cinderella in April),
  • watch Sabrina Goes to Rome - I always learn great moral/life lessons from Sabrina the teenage witch - the moral of this movie length episode is "those who have touched your heart are always with you",
  • convince Andrea that Jellybean does not weigh 22 pounds though he has grown into one very large cat (he definitely does not weigh as much as Fat Buddy (aka Buddy Brigham) nor does Bertha weigh as little as Skinny Buddy although she is getting really skinny),
  • and lose at The Game of Life, which by the way now includes Computer Consultant as one of the careers you can have.

A good time was had by all.

Oh, and the chiropractor says I can come back in 3 weeks. That's three weeks of not having to get up at 5:30 in the morning and still barely getting to work at 9:30.

There was probably something else momentous to say, but I am extremely tired (Duh, I got up at 5:30...).
