I left my house at 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time yesterday - Monday April 23, 2001 - and arrived in Budapest at 3:20 PM local time here (European Summer Time I think it's called). I've had 1 1/2 hours sleep - and unfortunately that was when they served the meal on the Swissair flight. Talk about tired and hungry. However, I got the G4 all connected and up and running to exactly where I had it before the power supply blew on the last trip, then added some new stuff like the TriMedia reader, support for a Kodak digital camera that was donated to the project, and stuff like that. All without sleep or food. István has arranged for me to stay with friends of his across the river in Buda, so we drove over there, I met them, called BiB at his hotel (yes we really managed to be here at the same time), and arranged to meet him for dinner. BiB took me to Iguana, a good Mexican restaurant, with his friend Sylvia. So here I am at the Iguana with BiB. More complete entry when I have had some sleep.
