This is one of two churches on top of a little peninsula in Lake Sevan. They're visible from miles away, and of course there's a wonderful view in all directions from here.
There used to be a picture on the back of Near East brand pilaf mix that I'm convinced was modeled on this spot. They've changed the packaging, or I'd scan it in too. The artist left out the pile of gravel and garbage cans, naturally.
