I am resolved; 'tis but a three years' fast:
The mind shall banquet, though the body pine:
Fat paunches have lean pates, and dainty bits
Make rich the ribs, but bankrupt quite the wits.
Technical
Interests
Unix, Linux, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, XML, DHTML, and AI programming (I prefer Prolog over Lisp). Graphics rendering and hardware/software graphics acceleration. Compiler and Database design.
Non-tech.
Interests
My family; inline skating, skiing, and (in theory) snowboarding.

I currently work at Intel in the Patent Practice Group in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Before Intel, I worked at Blakely Sokoloff Taylor & Zafman, LLP at their Lake Oswego, Oregon office. BSTZ started in 1975, and is a pre-eminent firm offering all the advantages of a large firm, with all the benefits of a small-firm through small regional offices.

Prior to BSTZ, I worked at Klarquist Sparkman in downtown Portland. Portland is a charming city, not too big, yet growing. Klarquist Sparkman is an interesting and rewarding work environment. It is well worth checking out, if not for the intellectual promise, then for its wonderful views of the city and surroundings.
