Ward Rosenberry is the founder and president of Rosenberry Associates. RAI has provided documentation consulting for many companies including Digital Equipment Corporation (now a part of Hewlett Packard) and Open Software Foundation (now The Open Group), Groove Networks (now a part of Microsoft), SafeNet, RSA Security, and others. RAI was originally founded in 1994 to develop and maintain OSF DCE documentation for Digital and OSF. In 1999, Ward began focusing on security technologies building on earlier security work with OSF DCE. At Groove Networks, Ward began work in the areas of FIPS 140-2 and NIAP Common Criteria evaluations of software security features, writing the extensive documentation components required for those schemes.
Ward continues providing technical writing services, with an emphasis on developing visual explanations when appropriate. Ward's graphic development experience is based on sound principles of researchers like Edward Tufte and William Horton.
