Who says aging punksters have no interest in cultural pursuits? Ah...no one, probably. We all went to Thomas Jefferson's house, where we took lots of pictures while admiring his inventions, his library, his big lawn, and his slaves' quarters (an obvious inspiration to "Uncle" Tom Bodett). It cost $7 to get in, so Peter opted to stay behind and relax in the kiln-like van while the rest of us acted like tourists.
There's noplace like home.
