The person who booked the tour ruled that Chicago was on a direct line between Morgantown and Rochester, so here we are. We'd driven all the way into Ohio after the Nyabinghi gig before we found a motel that had a vacancy, by which time it was 8 in the morning. We grabbed a few hours of sleep after pleading with the nice manager to extend the checkout time to noon, then traveled the last few hundred short miles to Chicago, where we met up with several subscribers to the Sugar mailing list (Malcolm connection and all).
