SALVATION IN THE END TIMES

MY LEANNESS, MY LEANNESS, WOE UNTO ME!

A study of Isaiah Chapters 24 , 25, and 26

OVERVIEW & PREMISE

The Lord, God the Father Himself will visit the Earth in the last days BEFORE His Son

comes to implement His Wrath.  The fullness of the iniquity of men on the Earth is

described.  The PHYSICAL reaction of the Earth to His presence is depicted.  The

Remnant of the Saved is SO FEW, due to TREACHERY.  The ARCHONS of the Second Heaven

and their confederate Kings on Earth are in disarray, but still later on, they will

be visited AGAIN.  The Father will set up His New Jerusalem and city of Zion.  These

events are not the Wrath of the Lamb.  Bible Scholars have MISSED this truth.

THE APPROACH TO EARTH

Mic 1:2  Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the
Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
Mic 1:3  For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and
tread upon the high places of the earth.

Mal 3:1  Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me:
and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of
the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
Mal 3:2  But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he
appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
Mal 3:3  And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify
the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the
LORD an offering in righteousness.

Mal 4:5  Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great
and dreadful day of the LORD:
Mal 4:6  And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of
the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Rev 5:1  And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written
within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

Rev 5:6  And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts,
and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns
and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Rev 5:7  And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the
throne.

Rev 5:8  And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders
fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of
odors, which are the prayers of saints.
Rev 5:9  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to
open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood
out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Rev 5:10  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the
earth.

Rev 6:1  And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the
noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
Rev 6:2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a
crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Rev 11:1  And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying,
Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
Rev 11:2  But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not;
for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot
forty and two months.
Rev 11:3  And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a
thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4  These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the
God of the earth.

Rev 12:1  And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun,
and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Rev 12:2  And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be
delivered.

Rev 12:5  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod
of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
Rev 12:6  And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of
God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

THE IMPACT ON THE EARTH

Isa 24:1  Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth
it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
Isa 24:2  And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the
servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the
buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the
taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
Isa 24:3  The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath
spoken this word.

The Lamb opens the first seal, the THUNDER CLAPS, the White Horse rides, an angel

measures the New Jerusalem whose outer court is _ON EARTH_ and trampled, the two

witnesses begin their ministry, the woman gives birth to the Manchild and all these

events begin the SEVEN YEAR GREAT TRIBULATION.

The approach of the Lord and the SIGHTING of His Throne in the Heavens, His presence,

precipitates physical calamities on Earth.  Everyone is in the same boat, and

affected by the natural catastrophes.

_______________________________________

Isa 24:4  The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away,
the haughty people of the earth do languish.
Isa 24:5  The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have
transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
Isa 24:6  Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein
are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

________________________________________

There are FIRES everywhere.  The proud people who thought they were running the world

are at a loss.  The transgressions of the world is FULL; the curse having run its

course.

THE FALSE CHURCH AND BETRAYAL

Isa 24:7  The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

________________________________________

The fresh grapes of the vine of ISRAEL, which is the people of God, is WEAK,

DROOPING.  They mourn together with everyone else.  THEY MISSED IT BECAUSE THEY

BELIEVED IN THE FALSE RAPTURE DOCTRINE.  Their heart fails them too because they

think that now they are counted with the wicked.  They WERE the merryhearted, but now

they too SIGH.

________________________________________

Isa 24:8  The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the
joy of the harp ceaseth.
Isa 24:9  They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them
that drink it.
Isa 24:10  The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man
may come in.

________________________________________

No more entertainment in the churches!  They together with the rest of the world go

on drinking binges because all is lost.  They too forsake their faith.  All the

CHURCHES are SHUT DOWN, due to CONFUSION of how their doctrine has led them to this

universal judgment.

________________________________________

Isa 24:11  There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth
of the land is gone.
Isa 24:12  In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.

________________________________________

People are crying for, what about that Jesus thing?  But the city of God that was

supposed to be represented by the CHURCHES is desolate and the GATE to salvation they

were supposed to offer is DESTROYED.

THE REMNANT EMERGE A FEW

Isa 24:13  When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there
shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage
is done.
Isa 24:14  They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the
LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
_________________________________________

Suddenly, there come A FEW singing praises to God.

__________________________________________
Isa 24:15  Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God
of Israel in the isles of the sea.
Isa 24:16  From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to
the righteous. ...........
___________________________________________

The other people ask incredulously, how is it that in the midst of all these fires,

can you praise GOD?  They answer that they have been lifted up in His Glory enough to

HEAR the songs coming from MOUNT ZION, the New Jerusalem with is ABOVE the Earth.

___________________________________________
Isa 24:16  From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to
the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous
dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very
treacherously.
____________________________________________

MY LEANNESS, MY LEANNESS, WOE UNTO ME!  SO FEW!  SO FEW!

So FEW are in the remnant because the FALSE SHEPHERDS were TRAITORS to GOD!
___________________________________________
Isa 24:17  Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the
earth.
Isa 24:18  And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear
shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be
taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the
earth do shake.
Isa 24:19  The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth
is moved exceedingly.
Isa 24:20  The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like
a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall,
and not rise again.

SOCIAL CHAOS - NO CONTROL by GOVERNMENTS

Why bother with concern for the PLANS of MANKIND with this DAY approaching?!

_________________________________________

Isa 24:21  And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host
of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
Isa 24:22  And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit,
and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

_________________________________________

The REBELLION in the Second Heaven will be confounded as their plans are preempted by

this MOVE OF GOD.  Their Earthly Minions will be powerless.  WIll they hide in their

prearranged shelters?  Nevertheless this is not the end for them as they will be

VISITED again LATER.

__________________________________________
Rev 12:7  And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the
dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and
Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:10  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and
strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of
our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their
testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev 12:12  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the
inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having
great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Isa 24:23  Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of
hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients
gloriously.

DISPOSITION OF GOD'S PEOPLE

God's people will be with Him in Zion, and in chapter 25 is what they will be saying:

Isa 25:1  O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for
thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
Isa 25:2  For thou hast made of a city a heap; of a defensed city a ruin: a palace of
strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
Isa 25:3  Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible
nations shall fear thee.
Isa 25:4  For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his
distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the
terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
Isa 25:5  Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place;
even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be
brought low.
Isa 25:6  And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast
of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines
on the lees well refined.
_______________________________________

In THIS MOUNTAIN made without hands, in ZION, God's people will be feasting.

_____________________________________
Isa 25:7  And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all
people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
Isa 25:8  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears
from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the
earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
Isa 25:9  And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for
him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad
and rejoice in his salvation.
______________________________________

We waited for him, and did not faint or depart from our faith.

_______________________________________
Isa 25:10  For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be
trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
Isa 25:11  And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that
swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride
together with the spoils of their hands.
Isa 25:12  And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay
low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

Isa 26:1  In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong
city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
Isa 26:2  Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may
enter in.
Isa 26:3  Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because
he trusteth in thee.
Isa 26:4  Trust ye in the LORD forever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting
strength:

Isa 26:5  For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it
low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
Isa 26:6  The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of
the needy.

__________________________________________

The poor and needy, those who ADMIT and CONFESS to God that they ARE WEAK and can not

SAVE themselves, but depend wholly upon HIM and KEEP their FAITH,  and EXPECT HIS

RESCUE, are the ones whose feet tread on the wicked world's lofty cities, because

they are literally and physically ABOVE the Earth.

________________________________________________

Isa 26:7  The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path
of the just.
Isa 26:8  Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the
desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
Isa 26:9  With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within
me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants
of the world will learn righteousness.
______________________________________________

They are also the people who took up the FOURTH WATCH, praying for themselves, their

families, and ALL THE SAINTS.

______________________________________________
Isa 26:10  Let favor be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in
the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the
LORD.
Isa 26:11  LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see,
and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall
devour them.
Isa 26:12  LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our
works in us.
_____________________________________________

We are WEAK and therefore it is THE LORD HIMSELF who will DO WORKS IN US.

_____________________________________________
Isa 26:13  O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by
thee only will we make mention of thy name.
Isa 26:14  They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not
rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to
perish.
Isa 26:15  Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation:
thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
___________________________________________

The LORD has removed the NATION of ISRAEL (God's people in CHRIST) to the FAR ends of

the Earth, to New Jerusalem.

___________________________________________
Isa 26:16  LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy
chastening was upon them.
Isa 26:17  Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is
in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.
Isa 26:18  We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought
forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the
inhabitants of the world fallen.
Isa 26:19  Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise.
Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the
earth shall cast out the dead.
___________________________________________

We were resurrected because we identified our OLD-MAN-SELF as CRUCIFIED with CHRIST;

therefore are we now RISEN WITH HIM and escape this huge trial.

__________________________________________
Isa 26:20  Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about
thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
Isa 26:21  For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of
the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no
more cover her slain.
___________________________________________

The chambers are in the New Jerusalem, in ZION the city of REFUGE.  We will do

exploits for God, coming and going from the City down to earth to preach the Gospel,

thus building a highway to the great city of God's NATION.

__________________________________________

Isa 62:1  For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will
not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation
thereof as a lamp that burneth.
Isa 62:2  And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and
thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
Isa 62:3  Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal
diadem in the hand of thy God.
Isa 62:4  Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be
termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the
LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
Isa 62:5  For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as
the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
Isa 62:6  I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold
their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
Isa 62:7  And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a
praise in the earth.
Isa 62:8  The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength,
Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the
stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast labored:
Isa 62:9  But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they
that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
Isa 62:10  Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast
up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
Isa 62:11  Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the
daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and
his work before him.
Isa 62:12  And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and
thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
