Sammlung Dietrich, Bd. 148. Possibly a later printing: Druck: Oswald Schmidt III/18/65. Kartzke provides a substantial 27pp introduction. Kartzke(b. 1883) had done a Berlin dissertation on Renaissance english literature, was around 1912 Oberlehrer in the Oberrealschule Rixdorf, also had a Ph.D. from Yale, and published a book on the American school system in 1928. There is material on him in the archives of the Emergency Committee in Aid of Displaced Foreign Scholars. Poe's tales with Kartzke's introduction is, amazingly enough, still in print.
