on winning the right to host the 61st World Science Fiction Convention.
We thank all the fans and pros who supported and voted for Cancún in 2003.
Cancún remains a wonderful vacation and convention destination. It will just
have to wait for its chance at a Worldcon.

Cancún in 2003 is a collaborative bid with committee members from around the world, featuring expertise from many Worldcons. It would be the first science fiction convention on the Yucatan peninsula, with hundreds of Mayan ruins a short trip away. Enjoy a traditional Worldcon in a non-traditional environment, in a venue that caters to its international clientele.
- Fourteen Miles from an International Airport, served by American, Continental, Delta, United, Northwest, Varig, Ladeco, Iberia, Martinair, Mexicana, Aeromexico.

Worldcons and Worldcon bids are run by volunteers. Neither can succeed
without them. We need volunteers to distribute flyers at conventions,
sit at our bid table, assist with parties, and more. If you are willing
to give your time to help ConCancún win, contact us in person, by mail,
or by e-mail.
