The Caribbean in 2003

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you serious?
Yes! Our committee is serious; our facilities are real.
Do you have any local Cancún fans on your committee?
No, but as with successful past Worldcons, we intend to draw on the talents of experienced and knowledgeable convention running fans from around the U.S. and the World, including Mexico.
Is Mexico safe?
Cancún is one of the safest tourist destinations in the world. The livelihood of Cancún depends on foreign visitors. The Mexican people there work hard, both officially and unofficially, to ensure a safe environment.
Why Cancún?
Worldcon is more than just a convention; it is a vacation. Between panels, before and after the Dealers' Room and Art Show hours, before and after the convention itself, Cancún has countless and varied things to do and see.
