STATS All-Deadball Era Stars

Both of the All-Deadball Era Teams selected by STATS, Inc., include three pitchers and two catchers. In contrast, the annual All Stars include four pitchers and one catcher.

Outfield positions. Should an honorary "team" include one leftfielder, one centerfielder, one rightfielder? Should an honorary "team" include at least one centerfielder? Opinions differ. The trio selected by STATS for the National League includes no regular centerfielder. Sherry Magee played some SS and some CF; he would probably handle the position if this NL team took the field.
