THE U.S. OCCUPATIONAL OUTLOOK HANDBOOK at http://www.bls.gov/ooh is the nation's premier source for career information. According to the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics), "The profiles featured here cover hundreds of occupations and describe What They Do, Work Environment, How to Become One, Pay, and more. Each profile also includes BLS employment projections for the 2010-2020 decade."

2. Select an occupational grouping from the left side, use the Search OOH function near the top right of the page, or the A-Z index.

THE CAREER GUIDE TO INDUSTRIES is an additional useful resource for researching future job projects. Previously located at http://www.bls.gov/ooh/about/career-guide-to-industries.htm, it is in the process of being updated and expected to be be available again in December 2012.

EXPLORING CAREER INFORMATION
