VJ

FEATURES: These shoes all have the same sole, with an aggressive cleat pattern, and most models are also available with tungsten carbide studs molded into the cleats. They are made completely of synthetic materials, so, when they get wet, they do not soak up a lot of water, and they stretch very little. Some shoes are described as having "special lacing", which means some eyelets are replaced with fabric loops which allow the lace tension to even out.

SIZING: We list VJ sizes based on UK sizing, which is larger than in NA, and a UK size 9 is approximately equal to a US Men's 10, or a US women's size 11.5. The VJ shoes listed below are made on a straight last. The Integrator is equivalent to a US men's "C" width, while the others have a "C" width in the heel and a "D" width in the front. VJ makes another model, the Twister, that we do not usually keep in stock, which is narrower than the Integrator, and has a curved last.

JALAS

FEATURES: Jalas shoes are similar to VJ shoes, and are sized the same way. The sole pattern differs from the VJ's pattern, but is equally aggressive. Like the VJs, they are made completely of synthetic materials, so, when they get wet, they do not soak up a lot of water, and they stretch very little.We carry 3 special purpose Jalas models: the Jukola and the Jukola Spider, which are made on a wide last, equivalent to a US men's E width, and the Cross Control, which is made on a medium width last, and has a high top and an ankle brace. All 3 models have "special lacing", similar to several of the VJ models.
