Planning Your Wedding
MUSIC FOR YOUR WEDDING
Our Director of Wedding Music will assit you in planning your music for
the wedding litury. Our director is a professional person, trained in
music and knoweldgeable of its use in litury. When choosing music please
keep these questions in mind:
- Do the lyrics express a Christian view of love?
- does a partciular selectoin emphasize or enhance that part of the
liturgical celebration where it occurs?
- Does the music promote the progress of the liturgy?
- Does your selection of music encourage the participation of the
Congregation?
Keep in mind that there will most likely be music at your reception. What
may be inappropriate within the context of the wedding lituryg may be
quite appropriate at your reception.
