Father James Erving, OMI

Parochial Vicar

Father James Erving, OMI, served as our Parochial Vicar. He come to us after his ordination as an Oblate on May 27th of 2000. Father was ordained in Baltimore, Maryland, where his parents live. Father entered the Oblates after graduation from Saint Anselm's College in Manchester, NH, where he got a degree in history. His seminary sutdies included stays in Buffalo, NY, Godfrey, IL, Washington, DC and Rome, Italy, where Father got a degree in theology. His diaconate assignment was as Campus Minister and head of the Theology department at Saint Anthony's High School in San Antonio, TX. Father's responsibilites included Youth Ministry and Outreach to our neighborhood.
