The second picture has a checkered history. As soon as it made its first, brief appearance on the Web, it got criticized by Sam's old friend Ron Echeverri for making her look "surly," and by Kibo for giving her a "spherical head." What it is actually supposed to represent is what Sam looks like seen from overhead, which is how I see her much of the time. One of Sam's co-workers did say it was a good likeness, and I think he was pretty tall, so there.
