This premier issue  of  Forward Engineering launches, what we hope, will be a publication that will continue to  focus  on  the hard science contained in those  fields  where science was lacking -- creating more "heat" than light. 

The term, Forward Engineering, means to us that broad-minded and inclusive, solid scientific advances will be heard, reviewed, and thought about where otherwise those ideas would have been shunted, orphaned, or overly-condensed. 

Discussions of where, and how, water was found on the moon and Mars begins our focus on the increased likelihood of extraterrestrial life.
