The "Meet John Brain" episode of Pinky And The Brain is strikingly close to the mouse-scale antics of the Libertarian Party. The public cheerfully misinterprets Brain's honest declarations of his evil intent to be the things they desire. When they finally see him in real life, they realize "why, he's just a mouse!" and abandon him for rival Chicken Boo (perhaps Perot....)

Olie and the Browne Campaign Song

(To the tune of the "Pinky and the Brain" Theme Song.)
They're Olie and the Browne
Yes, Olie and the Browne
Small town mayor, pop finance clown
They're libertariuns
perennial also-runs
Tax-free ideology
They're Olie and the Browne, Browne, Browne, Browne,
Browne, Browne, Browne, Browne, Browne

Before campaign is done
Their plan will be unfurled
At inauguration
They'd liber(tarian)ate the world

They're Olie and the Browne
Yes, Olie and the Browne
Their third party campaign
Is easy to disdain
To prove their party's worth
They'd privatize the Earth
Tax-free ideology
They're Olie and the Browne, Browne, Browne, Browne,
Browne, Browne, Browne, Browne, NARF!
