1.3.2 The Educational Contexts of Past Projects

There have been two major educational themes that have influenced how computers have been implemented in education. The quality of the educational goals has been the first issue of concern and the pedagogical model employed has been a second issue of concern. Goals have been carefully focused around the proper communication of a body of knowledge in a discipline or the ways learners would be affected. The ways in which these themes have been expressed in educational computing literature are described in the next few sections.
