Purpose:Worlds Together is a series of VHS videos for advanced students and adults. It examines vital World cultures, from East Africa to Cuba, from West Africa to Peru.
Content: East Africa (61 min.) explores Lake Victoria, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar. Topics covered include sports, transportation, ethnicities, the coastal (Swahili) culture and the tragedy of Uganda. West Africa (48 min.) explores Mali, Ghana, The Ivory Coast, The River Niger, Senegal, Timbuktu, the Cape Verde Islands and three additional countries. Peru (58 min.) explores the Amazon River, the Nazca Lines, Cuzco, Machu Picchu, the Andean highland culture, and the irrepressible city of Lima.
