Nicole Yankelovich is currently a researcher at Sun microcomputer systems. She was a founding member and the Project Coordinator for Brown University's Institute for Research in Information and Scholarship (IRIS). As project coordinator she was responsible for overseeing a number of IRIS projects, including the Annenberg/CPB funded Educational Software Project. She was also involved with the design and development of the Intermedia "electronic book" system and several accompanying application programs. She authored a number of IRIS documents, including the successful proposal for the 1.5 million Annenberg/CPB Project grant in 1984. Yankelovich holds the BA degree from Brown university in political science and is a member of the Computer Society of the IEEE, the ACM and a number of educational computing organizations.
