Sherman K. Ward is a computer programmer/systems analyst for the Educational Research and Information Systems group, in Freshman Engineering at Purdue University. He has had extensive experience in the collection, storage, management, analysis, and synthesis of engineering undergraduate and graduate student data. He has actively participated in a variety of studies related to student academic performance, student retention at both the engineering and the university levels, and the career development of engineering students. He received his BS degree in Computer Technology in 1984 from Purdue University. (Hopper, 1993)
