Jungo Releases WinDriver and KernelDriver Version 4.33
Natanya, Israel, - November 8th, 2000: - Jungo announced the release of WinDriver and KernelDriver version 4.33. Version 4.33 features new advantages, including access to additional PCI devices that are not accessible by WindowsNT, capability to generate Windows 2000 INF file for PCI devices, support to service pack 1 under Windows 2000 and added hardware support under Solaris operating system.
WinDriver and KernelDriver are device driver development toolkits that dramatically simplify the very difficult task of developing a device driver. WinDriver and KernelDriver enable developers to develop high performance PCI/Compact PCI/USB/ISA/ISA PnP and EISA based device drivers in an extremely short time, while providing support to major operating systems (such as Linux, Solaris, OS/2, VxWorks, Windows 2000, NT, CE and 9x).
Following Microsoft SP1 to Windows2000, Jungo has upgraded WinDriver and KernelDriver to support it and added the capability to generate Windows 2000 INF files for PCI devices. Version 4.33 also includes support for Ultra 220, Ultra 450, CP1500 and CP1400 under Solaris operating system. With this added support, Jungo establishes its dominance in the Solaris arena as the sole toolkit provider for this operating system. Added support for Windows ME operating system, now enables Windows ME developers to join the thousands of satisfied WinDriver/KernelDriver customers worldwide.
