Replying to LO12809 --

I would like to share my personal mission statement. I think it fits with the "model one" category stated by
Winfried Dressler.

- O - O - O - O -

To live a life which is meaningful to others and myself I, Chris Baudry,
will :

- Lead a life centered around the principles of excellence, service and
dedication.
- Remember that what is important in life is love, passion, and
authenticity.
- Develop in my consulting activity what supports learning organizations
where people find meaning in their work.
- Revere admirable characteristics in others, such as enthousiasm,
attention to others, generosity, tenacity, patience, and attempt to
implement similar characteristics in my own life.
- Stay grounded by being able to connect to creations of artists who have
realized the highest level of humanity in their creations.
- Recognize my strengths and develop talents as a person who is
articulate, insightful and imaginative,
- Humble myself by acknowledging that I can be short-tempered and
changing, and by constantly striving to transform my weaknesses into
strengths.
- Envision myself staying a person who :
.Julie (my 10 year old daugter) thinks is caring, reliable and fun.
.Jeff (a close friend) thinks is witty and caring.
.Guillaume (my business partner) thinks is competent and safe.

- O - O - O - O -

It's only the first draft of my mission statement. I used Covey's "Mission
Statement Builder" to create it. I would appreciate any comments as I
would like to fine tune it.
