Stephen Drew- "Thinking about the Learning Organization"
=======================================================

Stephen is a teacher, writer and consultant. On the faculty of the School
of Business, McMaster University since 1990, he is currently also teaching
executive programmes and MBAs at Henley Management College in the U.K. He
has also taught at the University of Toronto and York University.

Previously, Stephen held senior management roles in the Bank of Montreal,
Ernst and Young, IBM and in the scenario planning group of Royal
Dutch/Shell in London. He has consulted to many major international
organisations. His areas of research include knowledge management,
innovation, fast-changing strategy dynamics, organisational learning,
strategy development, financial services and executive development. He has
published numerous articles and a book "Business Re-Engineering in
Financial Services." Stephen was educated at Cambridge and London
Universities. He is a past President of the Toronto Chapter of the
Strategic Leadership Forum and also on the editorial board of several
journals.

His topic -"Creative Approaches to Organizational Change through Knowledge
Management."

He will talk about some of his recent work on knowledge development and
transfer through benchmarking and competitive intelligence. This draws on
a database of practices in over 100 firms.
