Fritjof Capra's Web of Life picks up Maturana's ideas on autpoiesis quite
well and puts them in the context of a whole range of related ideas in a
very accessible way.

I went to one of Maturana's three day seminars in Australia some years ago
- he comes here each year for the Feldenkrais society (not the most
obvious link) and it remains one of the most extraordinary experiences I
have had. Like others, I am very admiring of Rick's masterly summaries of
what can not be summarised!
