I have been "listening"/"lurking" for a few months. I am a masters
student in an "Organizational Leadership" program. I work for the
Department of Defense in Bremerton, Washington. I find the LO concept
very interesting. I have read Peter Senge's book, "The Fifth Discipline"
and now I am hooked. Working for the government is a big challenge. I
currently am on a team who are struggling to be a team. Downsizing and
regionalization have forced the beraucracy of government to start
implementing concepts of learning organizations(even though they have many
different names for it).
Thank all of you who contribute to the list. I have found some
inspiration and motivation in your words.
