I like your analogies especially the ones based on nature. When combined
with Choas theory this might be a great way of explaining organizationals
change.

1. Lobsters change by molting when they outgrow their own skin.
2. The mother changes the baby when it cries (unless you have one of
those babies who just sit in it quietly and smile, in which case the
mother changes the baby when the mother can no longer stand the smell!)
3. The pond changes to ice when the outside temperature drops below a
precise point....
