Try this for your personal mission statement.
Identify:
My Major Market: To whom is my life focused?
My Major Activities: How do I spend my days?
My Anticipated Results: What I want to achieve in life.
Now try to write a one sentence statement which integrates those three
areas. Life is more than our occupations, so what is your mission or
vision for your life? How does work, career, avocations, family,
community, etc. fit into that. How do you know when you are fulfilling
your ambitions or your vision?
Just another exercise which may help focus your thinking.
