Yes, yes, precisely! Why do we give so much power to the people above us?
It is my experience, that managers, VPs, SVPs, &etc, will start asking how
a team, group, department, etc. is achieving the results they are. If we
wait around for Sr. Management to endorse a new idea before we take action
we'll spend a lot of our careers sitting around.
