Replying to LO12472 --

I wanted to respond earlier to the requests for more info as well as the
emails I received on this topic. The situation can be summed up in the
phrase: everything changes.

The investors seized control of the company and basically everything has
changed. Direction from the top is establishing a heirarchical structure
that is still developing. That's about all I am prepared to go into right
now.

As far as my interest: I wanted to contribute some structure into the
operation where I am involved. It is less of a power play and more of a
desire to meet a need I have seen before and see again. My desire to
manager and then hand-off is based on experience wherein the start-up
manager does a good job but can't sustain the momentum during longer-term
maintenance management of the organization. We tend to think that
managers can do well in each situation. I have found that this is rarely
so. If I start it, I want to hand it off to someone else for the longer
term.

Perhaps I will be able to go into this more later.
