Hi everyone!

I've been away from the list for awhile. I had difficulty keeping up with
school and work. I'll be monitoring the discussions via the web.

For those who don't know me, I am a product designer with General Motors.
I am very interested in Deming, Systems Thinking, TQM, Organizational
Behavior and Psychology, etc. These subjects are a hobby for me, one that
I hope will help me to be a more valuable worker (to myself and my
employer).

I am looking for some information and hope LO participants can help. When
posting I would appreciate it if you could copy to my email address. I'll
still monitor the discussion via the web.

I would like to know if anyone is aware of companies, especially larger
ones, that have successfully used employee involvement and participation,
without a union. I know that there are some involvement activities, with
unions, but I am interested in learning about companies that have a high
level of satisfaction through employee and management partnerships,
without (unions).

I need solid examples. References are appreciated.

Thanks, and I look forward to exploring this issue together. :-)

As always, my views and opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect
my employer's point of view.
[Host's Note: This is always assumed to be the case here on LO. ..Rick]
