Ben Compton's message reminded me of a quotation from Arthur Miller's play
Broken Glass which seems to explain issues for individuals and
organisations:
"If you're alive, you're afraid. We're born afraid - a new-born baby is
not a picture of confidence. But how you deal with fear, that's what
counts."
The last sentence being the key - except we only get there by increasing
our awareness - and understanding the prospects of disappointments too.
