Replying to LO12425 --

It is wonderful to note that there are so many ideas, insights, knowledge
from members of this forum to my new posting on "System Creation / System
Understanding" and quoting Machiavelli.

Many learned members have given us a good historical perspective of
Machiavelli's learning in "system thinking" "New Order of Thing". After a
variety of historical perspectives, what then is or should be the present
perspective / understanding?

Thinking again

"There is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor
more dangerous to manage,....."

But every moment, every day, we are planning something, managing
something.... we are all participants of "System Modification,
Subtraction, Addition, Creation, etc. etc. " As such our action and
in-action affects one another. As I observe, many system change agents,
decision makers, executives who are constantly involving in the above
process, have the following type of thinking behaviour ....

"There is nothing more confusing, yet unknowing,
more entangling, yet feeling complacent
more sporadic and random activities multiplication,
yet feeling achievement through stressful and busy effort
more juggling and fire-fighting, one after another
than buried in a system that is understood & operated only from a single
perspective."

Your critique and comments please.
