You may want to try the web site of the Institute of Management &
Administration at

http://www.ioma.com

Their recent newsletter (February 1997) had an article about broad
banding. It mainly addressefd it's limitations and stated that it was no
longer the "hot topic" in compensation. I'm not sure I agree completely.

Also you may want to try the American Compensation Association. They have
a web site, but I'm not sure of the URL.
