Both as a professional in a manufacturing setting and as a student working
on a graduate degree, I am interested in this phenomenon. I have read the
article published in "Psychology Today" in 1973 titled "The Pygmalion
Effect" with interest. This study seems not to have been duplicated with
the same outcome, however, without question, I have witnessed results
similar to what has been expressed here. Does anyone have source material
on this topic? My email address is rtooley@fred.net thanks.
