In about 1986, I met with the leadership of the Teamsters Union in
Washington DC to talk about change and various initiatives for that
union.

This was the most inspiring meeting I had ever had. The leadership
of the Teamsters Union was more inspiring about education and
development of their membership than any corporate exec I was working
with or visiting at that time.

What's the big question about unions? They are just organisations
aren't they? What we're talking about makes as much sense for them
as for any other organisation doesn't it?
