Sheri,

We have been doing a considerable amount of thinking and planning about
the impacts of the year 2000 on our organization. We have been working
with our vendors and in-house software to address programming changes.
The State of Texas also has a task-force dealing with this issue on a
state-wide (governmental) basis. My concern is, what impacts will this
have on my personnel life? For example, what is the insurance (auto,
homeowners) doing to minimize impacts on policy holders. We could all be
cancelled because of a computer glitch. This is not an exciting prospect
what with living in the Tornado Belt. I would be curious to hear what
steps are being taken by those in industry who participate on this list.
