Replying to LO10746 --

Scott offered as an aside in his comments on cartoons the idea:

>(Wouldn't it be interesting to have people select their favorite
>illustration from the series and have teams of people discuss the issues
>raised as a tool for understanding perspective and generating dialog?)

I have heard of somebody doing something similar to this in that people
chose from a number of cartoons .............. and selected the one which
spoke to them about the spirit of their workplace... If I have this right
(and I did not write this down when I was told it so I may not remember
what they said - but it will be what I remembered so maybe that is as
significant!!) they then talked about the basic constructs in cartoons
which is usually a tension - they identified the tension and the
polarities it represented and how these were dealt with in their system...
I believe they anded in costructing some catoons of their own.. sounded
like fun and learning ... good stuff thanks for prompting the memory of it
