Sherri (and all):

I respond here, though I have read Virginia Shafer's reply. I have only
recently (this weekend) joined this dialogue/discussion. I feel a bit the
voyeur, reviewing the flow of communication back and forth, across several
threads. I enter now with half of the posts reviewed.

Several of my observations have already been voiced by Virginia - there
appeared to be several participants that were unaware of the dialogue
ongoing. This appears to be a hazard of the medium. I was confused for a
time as I followed the launch of this thread under "Dialogue Expt Here"
and then . . .

It would appear that several contributors made genuine attempts to
dialogue. It also appear that significant "percussion" occurred. I am
left to assume either they missed the sign on the door - "Dialogue" - or
that, as I have done many times, lost track of the dialogue and advocated
predominantly.

Though I am a late entry, I would welcome the opportunity to enter into
dialogue with those interested in such an endeavor. I will follow with an
introduction in the next few days.
