I'm not sure about the linkage between stress and creativity.
Survival and creativity yes... It led me down an interesting path...

If there is a link between stress, creativity and genetic mutation,
what is happening in the human race today?

With the massive changes in the marketplace (companies coming and
disppearing, shifts in the economy), with jobs (downsizing, migration
to independent consultants), with society (the breakup of the USSR),
and the family (one-parent families, divorce) does this mean the
human race is starting to undergo genetic mutations? Or is it society
that is undergoing the mutations? Or people?

Just what is happening due to the stresses of today?
