Bowing out LO10568

To Rick and all of the contributers (and lurkers) on the LO list,

I am going to step back from active involvement in the LO list for the
time being - the demands of my "real life" are such that I cannot devote
the time I would really like to this board. I expect that I'll "stop by"
now and then to see what people are talking about, and I hope at some
point the direction of my "real life" will justify my spending time here
again.

I want to thank you all for engaging with me in the different threads.
I've learned much about LO (and other, related) concepts and about how
these concepts fit into the business world. As much as some of the
threads would go off at times into theoretical issues, there were also
grounding, concrete examples that brought the conversations back to actual
practice. I think this combination of theory and practice is one aspect
of this board that makes it so stimulating. I don't think you need any
encouragement from me, but, "Keep it up, it's great!"

At this point, I think there's a pretty strong chance that I'll be
applying for business school for next fall. If I make the final decision
to follow-through on that plan, you can bet I'll be back here in the
future.

Rick, a special thanks to you; you've done a great job moderating the
board. Thanks for your time and efforts at creating and supporting this
resource.

[Host's Note: You're welcome Jeff, and thanks for the kind words. ...Rick]

Regards,
Jeff
