There is a useful progression from ideas through to methodology
- and it is easily illustrated.
A concept is a set of ideas.
A methodology is a set of concepts.
(I myself prefer to describe a concept as a system of ideas, and a
methodology as a system of concepts, since this expresses the
interrelationships between the elements).
