In agreement with Rol on Ben's situation, I would offer also what has
been a useful tool in the past.
When what one is saying is being received with glazed eyes, and later
gritted teeth, look around and find the best communicator to filter some
of the unsavory out of the presentation. Let some time go by if possible,
and the system will self-correct. Good luck.
